your old computers to us for recycling or
disposal and you will be helping the
environment, as well as fulfilling the
obligations of the WEEE directive.
Unlike many computer recycling and disposal companies, we aim to reuse
as many computers as possible.
Finding new homes for old equipment is much
better for the environment than
simple breaking down the machines - this way as
little of the original machine is sent for
disposal, and reuse results in less waste due to
lowering the demand for new computer production. |

 Computer
Collections
When
your equipment details have been passed on to us
we will arrange a collection at a time you find
convenient. You will receive all the
appropriate paperwork relating to your equipment
showing compliance to the necessary WEEE regulations
for recycling and disposal. |

 Data
Cleansing
Upon
arrival all computers are processed in our
in-house service centre. All data is
thoroughly removed from hard drives with
software that meets US Department of Defense
regulations
overwriting all addressable
storage and indexing locations on the drive
three times: with zeros (0x00), complement
(0xFF) and random characters; and then verifies
all writing procedures. A full and secure
data cleaning procedure is performed as the
first stage of recycling. |

 Refurbishing
Computers for Reuse
Our recycling
procedure requires that all received equipment
is processed through our servicing centre where
every computer receives a full data wiping
process followed by a refurbishment and testing
procedure. Computers that have passed these rigorous procedures will then be certified
suitable for use and found new homes (we only
dispose of parts that cannot be repaired).

consider using our service centre to repair or
upgrade your home or work computer – we have the
equipment and staff that can breathe new life
into your old PC.
Some of the used computers we receive have faulty
components which need replacement. For this
reason we stock a storeroom of second user and
new computer components. All parts in our
storeroom are available for purchase by the
general public, and most are sold at a fraction
of high-street prices. We also auction
computers on Ebay. |

 Fully
refurbished we then resell to the public
Once the
computers have been fully refurbished we make
them available for purchase by the general
public. When you buy a reconditioned
computer from us you will
know that the PC has been through a thorough
data cleaning process, it's parts have all been
tested (and replaced where necessary), and is
now available for a fraction of the price of a
PC on the high street.
